Istra is a leading Algo-Trading research company specializing in developing and deploying High Frequency Trading strategies (HFT). We use state of the art technology and algorithms that are developed by our elite highly-skilled group of experienced researchers and developers in a challenging, pleasant, and rewarding work environment.

We are looking for outstanding Algorithms Developers to join our team.

In this role, you will do:

• End to end development and deployment of high frequency trading algorithms.
• Development and application of trading algos in a highly competitive real time environment.
• Analyzing large and complex data sets finding ways to improve existing trading strategies.
• Building scalable infrastructures and developing algorithms for modeling the financial market.

Requirements

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Cum laude BSc. in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from a well-known academic institute
• At least 3 years of industry experience
• Strong programming skills, preferably in C/C++/R.
• Strong statistical, mathematical and problem-solving skills- advantage
• Self-motivation and ability to communicate within and across teams
• A deep sense of intellectual curiosity and excellence
• Independent, thorough, motivated and innovative
