
This is what you will do:
This position, Head of Medical Affairs Rare Bone & Endocrine Disorders, Rare Tumours will provide strategic leadership to Alexion’s assigned therapeutic area portfolio, including in-line and pipeline assets. Responsible for providing deep scientific and medical expertise and a strong understanding of disease biology, patient journey, and treatment landscape in the responsible therapeutic area. Responsible for the development and implementation of the strategic plans for multiple compounds and indications in a strongly matrixed environment with effective cross-functional collaboration.
This role will collaborate with Global, Regional and Japan Medical Affairs stakeholders to maximize patients’ outcomes by setting and continuously advancing the evidence-based medical standard of care.
Lead and develop Medical Leads, MSL leadership and broader matrix medical organization as applicable.

Develop and implement local medical strategies and plans as well as the strategically aligned tactical plan (and oversee their execution) across assets, indications, lifecycle stages, and evidence-generation priorities within the responsible Rare Bone & Endocrine Disorders,Rare Tumours area.
