Job Description

People who come from a background in skilled trade professions and are mechanically inclined with a customer service mindset. Previous field experience is a big plus, like cabling, wiring, residential installations, or working for Best Buy Geek Squad. They will be trained on the ADT equipment.

Day-to-day duties:

They will receive training on and be doing the following:

1. Installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and programming of Burglar Alarms, CCTV (IP & Analog), DVRs, and Access Control Systems for residential customers.

They will also convert older systems to new systems.

1. Working with window breaks, door units, and smoke detectors.
2. Troubleshooting signal issues to ensure the alarm functions properly if needed.
3. Perform daily hands-on field interaction with customers at the site level and some smaller customer care levels.
4. Test and verify signals for equipment
5. Train customers on using the equipment and how to connect to the devices and answer all questions including ensuring that they have no additional need (equipment, etc.).
6. Completing necessary customer paperwork for each job.
7. Cost ALL PARTS utilized for each job installed before closing the job out.
8. Maintain accurate truck inventory of ADT products.
9. Provide top-quality customer service.
10. Achieve 90% Goal Attainment for completed installations and zero go-backs.

Must have Great Communication skills. This is very important, along with being reliable and possessing an adaptable personality. This person should have stellar interpersonal skills, the ability to think quickly on their feet, the ability to read nonverbal cues from the home's residents, and a solution-oriented, customer-centric attitude. It's important to give the customer confidence that their issue will be resolved

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
