Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging recreational activities, including artistic and musical programs, tailored to the interests and abilities of senior residents
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and social interaction
- Motivate residents through personalized encouragement and creative expression
- Collaborate with staff and family members to assess residents' needs and preferences
- Organize and facilitate activities on weekends and during flexible hours to ensure consistent engagement
- Monitor and document residents' participation and progress in activities
Skills and Qualifications:
- Artistic or musical talents with the ability to lead creative activities preferred but not required
- Experience working with seniors or in recreational therapy preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire others in a compassionate manner
- Flexible schedule with availability on weekends
