Job Description

A warm, welcoming, and busy family in the Upper West Side, New York is seeking an experienced Full-Time Live-Out Nanny to join their childcare team. The family has four children, ages 2, 4.5, 9, and 11, and while this position will primarily care for their 4.5-year-old son, the nanny will also help support the other children as needed throughout the day. The family employs a collaborative nanny team, including an additional full-time weekday nanny whose primary focus is the 2-year-old and a separate weekend nanny. The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a team, communicating effectively, and seamlessly tag-teaming responsibilities to ensure all of the children's needs are met.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 12:00pm-8:00pm

• Flexibility for occasional date nights is appreciated.
• Additional hours may be available from time to time depending on the family's schedule.

Responsibilities

• Primary care for the family's 4.5-year-old son while supporting the older children as needed.
• Preschool pick-up and accompanying the children to playdates and extracurricular activities.
• Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children.
• Assisting with bath time, bedtime routines, and preparing for the following day.
• Helping organize school items, backpacks, and children's belongings.
• Collaborating closely with the family's weekday and weekend nannies to ensure seamless coverage and consistency for the children.
• Helping maintain a clean and organized household by cleaning up after the children and keeping shared spaces tidy. While there are no formal housekeeping responsibilities, the family appreciates someone who naturally contributes to maintaining an orderly home.
• Creating a warm, engaging, structured, and active environment where the children can thrive.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of professional nanny experience.
• Local candidates only - family is not looking to relocate a candidate.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Salary and Benefits

• $35-$40/hour DOE
• Weekends off
• Guaranteed hours
