Job Description

A warm, grounded, and respectful young family is seeking a highly adaptable, travel-ready Career Nanny to join them full-time as they travel throughout the year on the PGA Tour with their sweet 17-month-old daughter. The family travels heavily throughout the PGA season, generally spending 2–3 weeks per month traveling between tournaments from January through August, with September through December becoming significantly lighter and more home-based during the off-season. While the exact weekly schedule may fluctuate depending on tournament schedules and tee times, the family is committed to guaranteeing a full-time salary, guaranteed weekly pay, and two consecutive days off per week regardless of travel demands.

This role is perfect for a nanny who loves being “on the go,” enjoys new environments, can adapt quickly to changing schedules, and truly enjoys traveling with a family. There will be periods of heavier travel balanced by much lighter weeks and downtime during the off-season.

Start Date: Flexible

Schedule:Typically Thursday through Monday, averaging approximately 40 guaranteed hours per week. Exact hours will vary depending on tournament schedules and will often be determined week-of based on PGA scheduling.Flexibility is essential. Two consecutive days off will always be provided weekly.

The family typically travels:

  • 2–3 weeks/month from January–August
  • September–December are significantly lighter with more time spent at home
  • Occasional international travel during summer tournaments
  • Some weeks may require heavier support while traveling, while off-season weeks may consist of significantly lighter hours while still receiving guaranteed pay

Responsibilities

  • Full childcare for one toddler
  • Maintaining routines while traveling
  • Assisting with meals, naps, bath time, and bedtime
  • Engaging in developmentally appropriate activities
  • Traveling extensively with the family throughout the year
  • Packing/unpacking child-related items for travel
  • Assisting in maintaining organized child spaces while on the road
  • Helping create a calm, supportive environment amidst frequent travel and changing locations

Qualifications

  • Experience working with professional athletes, touring families, UHNW families, or high-profile clients
  • Background in family assistant or hybrid support roles
  • Ability to confidently navigate airports, travel logistics, and temporary living setups
  • Calm, positive energy and a true team-player mentality

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of professional nanny experience
  • Extensive baby/toddler experience
  • Prior travel nanny experience strongly preferred
  • Highly adaptable and flexible personality
  • Comfortable with ever-changing schedules and environments
  • Passport ready and willing to travel frequently
  • Discreet, professional, and emotionally mature
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with very involved parents

Salary and Benefits
