Job Description
Responsibilities:
Maintaining the operational readiness of classrooms AV/IT equipment
Provide support in conducting regular tests of the AV equipment in all classrooms and conference room spaces.
Provide reports on any major issues in classrooms that need to be addressed.
Provide onsite support services when users need immediate help in classrooms.
Keeping track of the equipment inventory in classrooms.
Assist in the replacement of equipment.
Perform basic repairs as needed.
Learn and demonstrate best practices for creating documentation.
Help with various to-dos and office tasks as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Aptitude for audio-visual (AV) equipment and information technology (IT).
Ability to write documentation for hardware and software procedures.
Excellent writing, verbal, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Comfortable with web conference technology (O365, Teams, etc.).
Being able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Being able to work on a 6-foot ladder.
Preferred qualifications:
Someone who can drive a campus vehicle.
Previous experience with AV equipment, sound systems, or computer hardware in a school or church setting.
Pay Range
$15-$16/hour
