Position Summary:

This position supports the Purchasing/Inventory/Receiving Engineering team. Duties include picking up and delivering product with local suppliers, creating internal repair orders, counting inventory, unpacking and receiving customer product for repair and overhaul, while ensuring paperwork and products are correct at all steps in the process. Also includes assisting Shipping Department in the packaging and completing paperwork for shipment.

  • Ability to utilize MS Office programs
  • Drive products in company van to/from customers and vendors in local area
  • Ability to identify, organize, and recognize differences or similarities in product
  • Basic mathematic skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers and fractions
  • Ability to deal resolve issues in a calm and effective manner
  • Works well in team environment and open communication
  • Ability to adapt to change to support changing priorities
  • Ability to take on responsibilities and challenges
  • Good communication skills

  • Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions/procedures in English
  • Receives and organizes parts and components arriving/shipping to and from our facility
  • Sort parts and paperwork while maintaining traceability of part numbers and serial numbers at all times
  • Supports monthly inventory cycle counts
  • Pull stock to support all production areas
  • Sort /straighten and standardize stock room as needed for product flow
  • Maintain a clean/ FOD free area. Properly dispose of all containers as needed daily

Additional Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of this position
  • Ability to organize priorities, daily tasks and completed actions on time, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and leadership ability
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented team member
  • Must be able to show proof of legally ability to work in United States
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
  • Must be able to pass FAA drug screen and background check
  • Must be able to obtain a forklift / pallet jack certificate if deemed necessary

Physical Demands:

  • Light to moderate physical effort required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, and move about the facility.
  • Must have the ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust to focus (Individual cannot be color blind).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate has a general understanding of aircraft components

  • Formal training on material moving equipment

Travel Requirements:

  • Local deliveries to our customers/vendors

Reporting to this Position:

  • None

Relationships:

  • Reports to the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Daily interaction with internal departments, customers and vendors
