Airport Maintenance Supervisor, Equipment
Engineering | University Airport
Supervises and performs airport equipment and vehicle maintenance, repairs, and FAA equipment inspection activities, as applies to the University Airport; completes reports, originates and submits orders for parts and supplies, reviews receiving records, and reviews equipment and vehicle records for all functions of the airport via asset management software; assists with A) airport facility inspections and maintenance; B) airport security; C) retrieval and transport of damaged aircraft; and D) support of academic and research activities taking place at the airport; performs special duties and projects as may be assigned.
Additional information: This person is on emergency call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Qualifications:
Required
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in aviation or related field, or equivalent experience
Experience: 3 years’ experience in airport equipment and airport vehicle maintenance; experience with medium/heavy-duty equipment; must pass FAA required airport driver's training test within 60 days of employment; valid Ohio Driver's License; proficiency with Microsoft office
Desired:
4 years of experience, ASE Certification; ability to operate aircraft radio equipment in accordance with FAA/FCC regulations;
The target hiring range for this job profile is $28.22- $37.12. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
