Position Summary

The Airport Lounge Server FOH/BOH is responsible for supporting a polished, clean, and high-end lounge experience for premium airline passengers.

This role supports both front-of-house and back-of-house operations by providing professional guest service, maintaining buffet presentation, clearing and resetting dining areas, supporting dishware and service flow, and helping keep the lounge guest-ready at all times.

This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, service-minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced airport hospitality environment.

Reports To: Lounge Supervisor / Operations Manager

Location: IAH Airport / Terminal B

Schedule: Flexible shifts may vary based on business needs

Availability: Airport lounge operations may run 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays

Essential Functions

• Provide professional, warm, and polished hospitality to lounge guests
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment
• Assist guests with food and beverage service as needed
• Take and deliver guest requests with accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Communicate menu items, allergens, lounge amenities, and service information when needed
• Monitor buffet presentation and replenish food items before they run low
• Maintain buffet cleanliness, organization, serving utensils, and presentation standards
• Bus tables promptly, removing dishes, glassware, linens, and trash as needed
• Clear, clean, and reset tables for incoming guests
• Load and unload dishware, glassware, and utensils as needed
• Ensure glassware, cutlery, and service items are clean, polished, and ready for use
• Keep storage, service, and back-of-house areas clean, stocked, and organized
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times
• Support the lounge team during peak service periods and changing operational needs
• Communicate guest concerns, supply needs, maintenance issues, or service concerns to leadership promptly
• Maintain a professional appearance and polished demeanor while working in guest-facing areas

Requirements

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality, food service, restaurants, hotels, fine dining, airport lounges, catering, or related service environments preferred English proficiency required; must be able to speak, read, and understand English for safety training, documentation, and operational communication
• Bilingual or multilingual ability strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and a guest-first mindset
• Professional appearance and polished demeanor required
• Ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional in a fast-paced, high-traffic airport environment
• Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and able to follow procedures accurately
• Ability to work well with a diverse team
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to pass required background check, drug screening, airport badging, TSA, U.S. Customs, and/or airport security clearance requirements as applicable

Physical Requirements

• This is an active, hands-on role that requires frequent movement throughout the shift.
• Team members may be required to stand, walk, bend, reach, carry trays, lift supplies, move through guest areas, and support both front-of-house and back-of-house service needs.

Salary Description

$18.00 per hour
