Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Experienced, Senior, or Expert Airline Network & Fleet Planning Specialist to join the Marketing team in Renton, Washington
The Airline Network & Fleet Planning Specialist demonstrates the value of Boeing airplanes to airlines, leasing companies and other industry constituencies. The selected candidate will provide expertise and act as a consultant to global airline customers and collaborate with internal selling teams, utilizing critical thinking skills to quantify and communicate the attributes of our products and services to meet customer needs.
This individual provides consultation on network strategy, fleet planning, airline scheduling, alliances, and revenue management. Additionally, the selected individual will create and improve current modeling methodologies with solutions that are understandable, cost efficient, and effective. This role represents the Commercial Airplanes Network and Fleet Planning group as a subject matter focal providing expertise to global airlines and internal sales, marketing, and strategy teams.
Position Responsibilities:
Collaborates with airline customers in the development of the traffic and revenue forecasts that form the basis of fleet plans
Conducts analysis of the revenue generating capability and operational performance of Boeing airplane products in prospective airline networks
Uses internal optimization models to demonstrate the financial benefits of airplane products individually and relative to competitors
Strategically develops fleet plans that suit airline customer’s needs, inclusive of airplane type, fleet transition, and operational characteristics. Create airline schedules based on market demand, operational considerations, and aircraft capability
Provides internal consultation on market requirements for new airplane products in the constantly evolving airline industry
Develops a consultative relationship with the airline that shapes their future network by identifying potential new market and revenue opportunities with Boeing's next generation airplane product line
Assists/leads development, promotion, and evolution of Boeing's internal network and fleet optimization models to best address future customer requirements
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work in Renton, Washington.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
3+ years of experience using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
1+ years of experience in an airline commercial planning function or related aviation consulting function
1+ years of experience communicating and presenting with the ability to effectively convey complex information to global audiences
Able to travel up to 20% of the time both domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Level 4 8+ years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
Level 5 12+ years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, marketing, or related discipline
3+ years of experience interpreting data and presenting analysis and/or recommendations to management
Experience with airline scheduling, operations, or revenue management
Familiarization with both Boeing and Airbus commercial airplanes
Foreign language skills

Experienced (Level 3): $107,100 - $140,000
Senior (Level 4): $138,550 - $180,000
Expert (Level 5): $173,400 - 210,000
