The Server/Delivery Driver plays a key role in ensuring Abby’s Catering delivers a flawless culinary experience to our private, corporate, and commercial aviation clients. This position is responsible for the safe, timely delivery of prepared meals, beverages, and equipment while maintaining exceptional customer service and strict safety standards.

Drivers are the face of Abby’s Catering — professionalism, spotless uniforms, clean vehicles, and excellent communication are essential.

Schedule: Flexible schedule required; early morning start times as early as 3:00 AM may be necessary.
Geography: Greater Houston area.

SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE

• SAFETY FIRST — always operate within speed limits and traffic laws; reckless driving is not tolerated.
• Maintain strict adherence to HACCP, traceability, and all food safety handling standards.
• Document deliveries accurately and verify all items before departure.
• Ensure personal hygiene, grooming standards, and uniform compliance.
• Keep vehicles clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  

SERVICE AND DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver meals, beverages, and catering equipment to clients and airport partners on schedule.
• Provide professional, courteous service to VIP, private, and commercial clients.
• Communicate effectively regarding delays, substitutions, or client needs.
• Protect company assets by ensuring correct loading, accurate counts, and secure transport.
• Maintain exceptional presentation of vehicle interiors and exteriors.
• Represent Abby’s Catering with professionalism, urgency, and hospitality.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Valid and clean Class C driver’s license ( Class B is an advantage).
• Valid Food Handler Certificate required.
• Previous delivery driving experience required.
• Strong knowledge of the Greater Houston area.
• Excellent presentation, grooming, and customer communication.
• Fluent in English; Spanish strongly preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Highly organized, accurate, and detail-driven.
• Able to lift boxes, push carts, and work in cold environments as part of daily duties.
• Reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently.
  

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Combination of warehouse, vehicle, and airport delivery areas.
• Exposure to cold-room environments and fast-paced operational settings.
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
