Operate airless striping machine or spray gun to paint, runways, taxiways, directional signs on taxiways, aircraft terminal parking areas, curbs, arrows, crosswalks and other markings on airport roadways and pavement; operate heavy snow-removal equipment; and perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility.
This is a safety sensitive position subject to random drug/alcohol testing.

SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
Education directly related to the minimum requirements below may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
High school diploma or GED; and
Three (3) years of pavement striping and marking experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid New Mexico Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B).
Possession of a valid City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.
Must be able to successfully qualify for and maintain a Sunport Access Control Card as determined by the criteria set forth by the policies and guidelines of the Aviation Department and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
Successful completion of a security background check conducted by U.S. Customs & Border Protection, if applicable.
Environmental:
Field environment; work around traffic; exposure to noise and inclement weather conditions.
Physical:
Essential and supplemental functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for light to moderate lifting and carrying; standing and walking for prolonged periods; and operating motorized equipment and vehicles.
