Key Areas of Responsibility
·Performs maintenance and customization tasks in support of scheduled and unscheduled projects
·Analyzes mechanical, structural and electrical problems, and implements remedial processes
·Is responsible for the removal and disassembly of defective parts, assembly and installation of replacement parts, and testing aircraft systems to verify correct operation
·Identifies, from approved parts lists/documentation, replacement and servicing parts and consumables necessary to perform particular maintenance activities.
·Is responsible for the correct use of supplied tooling and specialized equipment
·Is capable of travelling to assigned field maintenance activities and is available for all required training
·Accurately records time worked on a specific work order
·Is responsible for the proper use and operation of all personal protective equipment and work place safety equipment
·Maintains the work environment in a clean and safe condition
