
Aircraft Systems Engineer - Technical Specialist II in GAC Savannah
Unique Skills:
1. Knowledgeable of Systems Engineering principles of Requirements Management, Validation, Verification, Change Management, Process Assurance and Functional Integration. (ARP4754A & DO-178 experience desired)
2. Knowledgeable of Model Based Systems Engineering principles, practice, methods and tools to institute within an organization
2. Improve upon current Systems Engineering processes and drive their use for future projects and programs.
3. Create and maintain open communication channels with the aircraft system owners and management, to ensure the processes are understood and adhered in accordance with the program objectives.
4. Create specific milestones and deliverables that can be integrated and align with the overall program plan and schedule.
5. Establish the requirements management database to meet program needs and Systems Engineering guideline (IBM DOORS and/or Siemens Teamcenter experience preferred)
6. Support periodic assessments of the aircraft and its systems against requirements management processes to ensure development assurance.
7. Collaborate on the development of new technologies to support the continuous improvement (CI) of the Systems Engineering processes.
8. Develop standards and guides for Systems Engineering processes and methods
9. Ability to conduct and/or participate in ARP4754A audits
10. Familiarity with MATLAB and System modeling desired
