GAL AeroStaff Ltd. is a Canadian aerospace company specializing in delivering high-quality technical and operational services to the aviation industry. Our expertise includes aircraft interior, structural, manufacturing, and maintenance solutions for OEMs, MROs, and operators across North America.

The selected candidates will be required to perform heavy maintenance on narrow body aircraft in Windsor, ON

Main Duties:

• Assemble, rivet, drill and bond body, structure or components of aircraft according to specifications;
• Read work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine method of fabrication, procedures and sequence of operations;
• Cure bonded structures, using portable or stationary curing equipment;
• Communicate with other workers to fit and align heavy parts or expedite processing of repair parts;
• Clean, strip, prime and sand structural surfaces and materials prior to bonding;
• Fabricate parts using metal fabricating machines, saws, brakes, shears, and grinders;
• Assemble and fit aircraft and structural parts;
• Perform a subassembly;
• Align, fit, assemble, connect, or install system components, using jigs, fixtures, measuring instruments, hand tools, or power tools;
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to speak, read and write the English Language at a B2 level minimum.
• Must be able to work overtime, any shift, and weekends as required.
• Must have requisite basic tools prior to starting to work; tool list will be provided. Tools must be shadowed and engraved.
• Must have a technical college degree in aerospace or equivalent.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an MRO

Working Conditions

• Work performed in hangar and production line environments.
• Mandatory use of personal protective equipment.
• Possible shift work (day, evening, weekend).

Location: Windsor, ON

Term: Permanent, Full-time

Schedule: 40 hours per week
