Elliott Aviation, a leader in aircraft solutions, is looking for a skilled Soft Goods Technician at our headquarters facility in the Quad Cities to join our team. As Soft Goods Technician you will be responsible for refurbishing interior components for a variety of aircraft. You will work with a team of experienced professionals to ensure that every detail is perfect, from the stitching to the finishing touches.

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Performs basic stripping operations of fabric from aircraft surfaces to prepare for remodeling and recovering
• Work with leather and fabrics to refurbish aircraft seating to high quality levels
• Patterns, cuts, sews, cements, and trims upholstery fabrics for drapery, divans, chairs, headliners, side panels, containers, and engine and propeller covers
• Perform routing and complex sewing operations
• Documents all work accomplished in a clear, concise, and accurate manner
• Works with team in order to complete established goals

• Willingness to work on a team with both experienced technicians and mentor junior technicians with a calm demeanor
• Ability to communicate well in straightforward situations
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Excellent workmanship aptitude and a desire to initiate improvements

Other requirements include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to attain and retain AOA badge or Airport requirements
• 5+ years sewing and pattern-making experience preferred

Pay Range: $20 to $40/HR
