Job Description
Resicum International, LLC. is seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanic II – Air Frames personnel to support MH-60R/S aircraft Organizational-Level Maintenance operations at NAS Key West, Florida.
Aircraft Mechanic II Air Frame personnel perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, structural maintenance, component replacement, servicing, and modifications on MH-60R/S aircraft.
Mechanic II personnel must be capable of troubleshooting aircraft discrepancies, interpreting technical documentation, and performing moderate to complex airframe maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on MH-60R/S aircraft.
- Perform inspections, troubleshooting, repair, servicing, and modifications.
- Maintain and repair aircraft airframe and structural components.
- Perform structural and sheet-metal repairs and modifications as assigned.
- Maintain flight controls, landing gear, mechanical systems, and associated components.
- Troubleshoot aircraft airframe and mechanical discrepancies.
- Interpret aircraft technical publications, blueprints, and maintenance manuals.
- Perform component removal, installation, inspection, and replacement.
- Use aircraft-specific tools and test equipment.
- Apply technical knowledge to determine aircraft system malfunctions.
- Restore aircraft systems and components to required operating condition.
- Support aircraft inspections.
- Make required aircraft logbook and maintenance record entries.
- Support corrosion prevention and control.
- Support aircraft movement and flight-line operations.
- Support aircraft detachments as required.
- Support SAR maintenance operations when directed.
- Support CDI and Technical Directive Compliance requirements.
- Participate in emergency drills and aircraft movement or salvage operations when directed.
- Perform all work in accordance with applicable Navy maintenance procedures, technical manuals, technical directives, and local instructions.
Requirements
Specific MH-60R/S Experience — REQUIRED
- Must have direct hands-on aircraft airframe maintenance experience applicable to MH-60R/S aircraft.
- Must have experience performing Organizational-Level aircraft maintenance.
- Must have experience performing scheduled and unscheduled airframe maintenance.
- Must have experience troubleshooting and repairing aircraft structural and mechanical systems.
- Must have experience interpreting aircraft technical publications and maintenance documentation.
- Must have experience performing structural and sheet-metal repairs as assigned.
- Generic aircraft mechanic or sheet-metal experience without applicable aircraft maintenance experience does not satisfy the specific experience requirement.
Additional Requirements
- Must possess a current U.S. Passport.
- Must possess aircraft airframe maintenance experience appropriate to the Mechanic II skill level.
- Must have working knowledge of aircraft structures and mechanical systems.
- Must have experience with structural repair and sheet-metal maintenance.
- Must have experience troubleshooting aircraft mechanical systems.
- Must have experience using aircraft maintenance tools and test equipment.
- Must have experience interpreting technical manuals and maintenance documentation.
- Must be capable of troubleshooting moderate to complex aircraft maintenance problems.
- Must be capable of prioritizing workload and meeting maintenance schedules.
- Must be capable of making accurate aircraft logbook and maintenance record entries.
- Must maintain required aircraft maintenance qualifications and certifications.
- Qualifications may include CDI, Plane Captain/Plane Handler, Tire and Wheel, Hydraulic Contamination, Vibration Analysis, Ordnance, Forklift, and other qualifications applicable to assigned duties.
