Aircraft Mechanic I
Performs diagnostic and repair work involving fixed and/or rotary-wing pressurized cabin, passenger aircraft with multi-engine reciprocating or turbine engines, and single-engine non-pressurized aircraft for special purpose and passenger use. Employees at this level follow standard practices that do not require frequent supervision of details.
Aircraft Mechanic II
Performs advanced diagnostic and repair work involving fixed and/or rotary-wing pressurized cabin, passenger aircraft with multi-engine reciprocating or turbine engines, and single-engine non-pressurized aircraft for special purpose and passenger use. Employees at this level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor.

All of the above and:
Education High School Grad or Equivalent in general high school studies.
Experience
Aircraft Mechanic I: 1 year Fixed/Rotary wing aircraft maintenance and repair work.
Aircraft Mechanic II: 3 years Fixed/Rotary wing aircraft maintenance and repair work.
(Experience can be satisfied by full time or prorated part time equivalent). Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year per year basis. Substitutions for Minimum Qualifications
