The successful candidate will be tasked with a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
• Performing in-depth aircraft structural repairs, fabrication, modification, and installation of parts and assemblies on C130 aircraft.
• Interpreting complex technical data, such as blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturer's manuals.
• Conducting corrosion control measures to maintain aircraft longevity.
• Performing detailed inspections to ensure the highest standards of safety and performance.
• Assisting with ground handling operations, including towing and jacking of aircraft.
• Ability to perform at heights with required fall protection and associated PPE.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
• Minimum of six (2) years of sheet metal experience performing aircraft modifications or demonstrated aptitude.
• Strong aptitude to read and interpret complex aircraft mechanical drawings – Blueprints, TCTO’s, Supplemental Work Instructions, Service Bulletins, Installation Drawings, ETC.
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic devices (laptop, tablet, etc.) for data management, work authorization, and interpretation of instructions.
• Heavy modification, integration, or repair sheet metal experience on aircraft.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Ability to maintain respirator fitness qualification.
• Ability to perform confined space entry.
• Experience with C-130 aircraft.
• Active Secret Clearance.
