What You Will Do

  • Perform complex scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Gulfstream aircraft systems
  • Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot advanced airframe, engine, landing gear, electrical, and control systems
  • Perform aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks requiring a high degree of accuracy and skill
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, inspection requirements, and quality standards
  • Accurately complete work orders, shift turnovers, and all required documentation
  • Safely operate ground support and specialized equipment used in major component removal and installation
  • Coordinate with Inspection, Engineering, and other departments to support maintenance and component repair
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment using 6S and Lean principles

What You Will Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 6 years of aviation maintenance experience (mechanical, electrical, and/or avionics)
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Gulfstream aircraft experience preferred; corporate aviation experience accepted in lieu of Gulfstream‑specific experience
  • Advanced knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, inspection requirements, and technical reference materials
  • Must be able to work any shift
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Education and Experience Requirements


High School Diploma or GED required. 6 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical). A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required. Valid Driver’s License required. Position PurposePerform various technical functions of aircraft maintenance, repair, replacement, and modification of key aircraft components to ensure proper operation. Perform aircraft maintenance and perform troubleshooting and repair duties requiring a high degree of accuracy and skill. Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:

  1. Perform required. maintenance and necessary servicing of all aircraft mechanical systems .
  2. Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and functional components of the aircraft including airframes, engine components, landing gear, electrical components, and control systems .
  3. Coordinate with inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements .
  4. Properly complete work order sign-offs, shift turnovers, and other paperwork in a timely manner .
  5. Ensure that all work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications .
  6. Properly identify (tag) customer property and equipment. Store aircraft components and other customer property securely and safely .
  7. Follow standard operating procedures and JSAs when operating ground support equipment .
  8. Operate and oversee use of special support equipment used in removal and installations of major components .
  9. Coordinate with other departments to arrange for the overhaul or repair of customer property as needed .

Additional Functions:

  1. Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to keep shops, hangars, and aircraft work areas clean .
  2. Properly use and maintain company-provided tools and equipment .
  3. Coordinate movement of aircraft, as required. .
  4. Maintain advanced knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures .

Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements:

  1. Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for various aircraft models and systems.
  2. Advanced knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials (maintenance manuals, IPCs, Service Bulletins, structural repair manuals, engineering drawings, ADS, etc.).
  3. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
