Position Summary:
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician conducts inspections, maintenance, and repairs on company-operated and managed aircraft, including high-profile and complex platforms such as the Boeing Business Jet (BBJ). This role plays a critical part in maintaining the highest standards of safety, airworthiness, and regulatory compliance across the fleet. The Technician assists with troubleshooting, routine servicing, and the timely execution of maintenance activities, contributing to the operational readiness and reliability expected in a BBJ-level environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Support:
- Assist in performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on aircraft systems, structures, and engines, ensuring work meets company and FAA standards.
- Inspections:
- Support pre- and post-flight inspections and assist with scheduled maintenance checks. Use appropriate tools to identify wear or damage under the direction of the Aircraft Maintenance Manager.
- AOG (Aircraft on Ground) Response:
- Assist in responding to AOG situations to support returning aircraft to service. Some travel to airport locations may be required, estimated at up to 15%.
- Safety Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental guidelines when handling aircraft maintenance and hazardous materials.
- Technical Assistance:
- Collaborate with the maintenance control team and Maintenance Manager to ensure accurate communication regarding maintenance status and needs.
- Documentation:
- Accurately complete maintenance records, inspection forms, and work orders for all tasks performed. Assist in receiving inspections for incoming parts and supplies.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Support the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) by participating in safety initiatives and reporting observations or potential improvements.

QualificationsRequired or Preferred

Qualifications:
- Certifications:
- - FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate or 737 Engineers Certification required.
- - Valid passport preferred for potential international travel.

Experience:
- - 10 years of aviation maintenance experience required.
- - Experience with BBJ aircraft or similar large cabin aircraft strongly preferred.
- Skills:
- - Working knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance practices.
- - Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- - Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
- Physical Requirements:
- - Ability to work on lift platforms up to 40 feet in the air.
- - Ability to stand, crouch, or sit for extended periods while performing repairs.
- - Capable of lifting machine parts up to 70 pounds and maneuvering up to 125 pounds with assistance.
