Aircraft Maintenance Planning & Supply Chain Analyst

The Aircraft Maintenance Planning & Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for collaborating with Logistics Supply Representatives and Asset Management to satisfy the material needs of comprehensive maintenance forecasts and supply chain logistics and resolving inventory discrepancies to ensure seamless maintenance operations. This role combines maintenance planning expertise with supply chain management to support fleet availability, program sustainment, and customer satisfaction across multiple maintenance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

-Maintenance Planning & Scheduling:

  • Support aircraft maintenance forecasts and schedules for specific maintenance operations.
  • Reconcile maintenance plans to accommodate operational events and changing requirements
  • Monitor operational activities and aircraft on ground (AOG) maintenance events

-Supply Chain & Logistics Management:

  • Validate that aircraft parts, materials, tools, consumables, and equipment are scheduled and routed according to plan
  • Reconcile and track tools, parts, consumables, and other resources required for maintenance activities
  • Create and manage back shop configurations to support maintenance operations
  • Utilize supply chain management systems and shipping systems to oversee delivery timelines and ensure on-time availability
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement activities to prevent delays
  • Investigate and manage total platform vehicle demand management and replenishment processes

-Inventory & System Management:

  • Research, identify, and resolve supply support system inventory discrepancies for multiple customers
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues within electronic data systems related to inventory and demand management
  • Monitor logistics systems performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure data integrity across supply chain and maintenance planning systems
  • Track inventory movements to maintain accurate system records

-Customer Support & Satisfaction:

  • Take proactive action to improve customer satisfaction with company services
  • Serve as primary point of contact for supply chain and maintenance planning inquiries
  • Address concerns and provide timely resolution to issues
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

-Program Sustainment & Reporting:

  • Monitor program sustainment activities and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
  • Review, aggregate, and approve required company reports related to maintenance planning and supply chain operations
  • Prepare and distribute reports on maintenance schedules, parts availability, inventory status, and operational impacts
  • Track key performance indicators related to maintenance planning, logistics execution, and customer satisfaction
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement

-Resource Management:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.

Required Qualifications:

-Education & Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance planning, logistics, supply chain management, or inventory control
  • Experience working with military aviation maintenance operations
  • Proven track record of resolving complex inventory and supply chain issues

-Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with supply chain management systems, and shipping/logistics software
  • Familiarity with aircraft maintenance tracking systems and maintenance planning software
  • Strong understanding of aviation maintenance requirements

-Core Competencies:

  • Project management knowledge and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent investigative and troubleshooting abilities
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for customer interaction and reporting
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and with multiple customers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Program Management
  • 5 plus years in Aviation Maintenance
