As an Aircraft Inspector III, you will perform complex inspections and audits, ensuring the highest standards of airworthiness and regulatory compliance. You will also assist in training junior inspectors.The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Responsibilities:

• Perform complex aircraft inspections and audits.

• Plan and prepare for comprehensive inspections.

• Maintain detailed and accurate inspection documentation.

• Address significant non-conformities.

• Train and mentor junior inspectors.

• Ensure timely completion of inspection schedules.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 3+ years of relevant experience.

• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.

• Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.

• Thorough knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment and parts.

• Understanding and experience with the practical application of product audit and inspection processes and procedures.

• Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Basic understanding of 14 CFR Chapter 1.

• Understanding of civil or government aviation inspection operations and/or FAA Repair Station operations.

• Inspection Authorization (IA) Designation.

• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.

Essential Functions:

• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally 75 lbs.

• Stand, walk, and climb ladders or stairs for extended periods.

• Work in potentially hazardous environments.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
