We are seeking an Advanced Structural Aircraft Technician (Technician III) to perform complex inspection, repair, and modification of aircraft structures in an MRO environment with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include interpreting and applying technical data such as the Aircraft Structural Repair Manual (SRM) and Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), evaluating structural damage and determining appropriate repairs, fabricating and installing complex structural components, and executing precision drilling and fastener installation to airworthy standards. The role requires strong blueprint interpretation, the ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies, coordinate with engineering and quality, and ensure all work meets regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.
Aircraft component repair experience required
High School Diploma or GED required. A&P license, FCC license, or NCATT cert preferred.. Able to read/interpret blueprints, engrg docs and use/read precision measuring tools. Proficient in the operation of all tools & equip in the dept. Basic understanding of shop math. 4 years experience in one of the following or other related exp: Sheetmetal , hydraulic overhaul, avionics/elect compo repair. Accredited schooling in electronics and elect sys may offset some experience reqmts. APU removal, install, service. Position PurposeUnder minimal supervision, repair and overhaul internal and external aircraft assemblies, subassemblies and components in accordance with Gulfstream Repair Station requirements.
