We are seeking an Intermediate Structural Aircraft Technician to perform inspection, repair, and modification of aircraft structures in an MRO environment. Responsibilities include interpreting and applying technical data such as the Aircraft Structural Repair Manual (SRM) and Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), assessing damage and determining appropriate repairs, fabricating and installing structural components (doublers, patches, shims), performing precision drilling and fastener installation/removal, and completing corrosion treatment and sealant application. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in aircraft structures, strong blueprint interpretation skills, and the ability to work independently while ensuring compliance with airworthiness, quality, and safety standards
High School Diploma or GED required. Able to interpret blueprints, engrg docs and use precision measuring tools. Proficient operation of all tools/equip in the dept incl glass bead & carboblast machines. Must possess basic understanding of shop math. 2 years experience in one of the following or other related experience: Sheetmetal, hydraulic overhaul, electrical/electronic harness buildup, electrical systems troubleshooting, battery servicing, APU removal, installation, and servicing. Position PurposeUnder moderate supervision, repair and overhaul internal and external aircraft assemblies, subassemblies and components in accordance with Gulfstream Repair Station requirements.
