Job Description

We are currently looking for an Air Navigation Services Expert responsible for all issues of ATM transformation in which the company may be involved and act as company’s representative to all aspects related to SESAR.

The role is located in our Headquarters in Marousi and reports to Crisis Planning & Air Navigation Services Manager

What you will be doing:

  • Manages ATM transformation
  • Manages all Single European Sky ATM Research (SESAR) related deployment and business research programs
  • Maintains and evolves the scope of Advanced ATC Tower at the 14 airports
  • Authors the SOPs related to their field of expertise
  • Performs the trainings of the personnel within his/her field of expertise
  • Other projects or needed liaison regarding Air Navigation Services
  • Performs other functions and projects which the Department Head may assign

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in Aviation
  • Proven experience in Aeronautical Information Management, Air Traffic Control, airline flight dispatch or Airport Operations Center under A-CDM environment,
  • Good knowledge of Notification to Airmen (NOTAM) issuance and relevant regulation framework
  • Previous experience in SESAR projects will be considered an asset
  • Good Knowledge of operational tools and platforms such as EUROCONTROL NOP Portal, Airport Corner, ECRA / iNM platforms will be considered an asset
  • College degree or bachelor’s degree will be considered an asset
  • Skilful use of administrative applications (i.e.MS Office, analysis and reporting tools)
  • Fluent in both Greek and English

Fraport Greece is responsible for operating, managing, upgrading and developing 14 airports in Greece.

The 14 airports - gateways to some of the most important global destinations - are: Aktion (PVK), Chania (CHQ), Corfu (CFU), Kavala (KVA), Kefalonia (EFL), Kos (KGS), Lesvos (MJT), Mykonos (JMK), Rhodes (RHO), Samos (SMI), Santorini (JTR), Skiathos (JSI), Thessaloniki (SKG), Zakynthos (ZTH)

On 11th April 2017 full payment of the €1.234 billion upfront concession fee was made by Fraport Greece in tandem with the transfer of operations at the 14 airports for a period of 40 years.

In tandem with the start-up of its concession for managing the eleven island and the three mainland airports across Greece, Fraport Greece realized a comprehensive plan for the modernization and development of the airports.

Fraport Greece’s innovative €440 million airport development program has significantly transformed these airports. In particular, Fraport Greece has delivered five brand new terminals, expanded and modernized five existing terminals, and upgraded four other terminals. Construction projects at airside operational areas of the regional airports included renovating 12 runways, improving ramp areas, and constructing and renovating 12 fire stations. All of the airports have also been equipped with new state-of-the-art baggage handling and security systems.

The 14 Greek regional airports project is one of the largest and most beneficial investments and is a basis for boosting the Greek economy. Fraport Greece enhances the airports’ international competitiveness by the optimization of operational processes, the modernization and upgrade of the airports’ infrastructure and the continuous training of employees.
