The Aerospace Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely coordination of aerospace shipments while meeting customer transit time requirements. As part of the Aerospace Operations team, this role manages transport activities by arranging bookings with partners and gateways, preparing all required documentation, and monitoring shipments end-to-end, including handling any deviations.
The position works closely with Customer Care Specialists to ensure all customer-specific requirements, such as transit times, carrier selection, and routing, are fully met. Securing competitive buy rates (when needed) and ensuring capacity with qualified carriers, partners, or Kuehne+Nagel gateways is a key responsibility.
All activities must be carried out in compliance with air transport regulations, aerospace industry standards, company guidelines, and operational procedures, using company operational systems.
