Join our dynamic Team at DHL Global Forwarding! We are looking for an Air freight Transport Specialist, within the Airfreight Freight Import Department, at our Sydney Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordination of Air Freight import deliveries.
• Manage cartage providers on a day-to-day basis to adhere to agreed KPIs.
• Some coordination of payments for release of cargo via outside forwarders.
• Act as key contact for allocated customers on agreed delivery requirements and supporting on challenges.
• Monitoring the Customs and DAFF held shipments.
• Reduction of client transport liabilities.

Key Accountabilities:

• Previous experience in Shipping/International freight forwarding industry in airfreight and/or ocean-freight / Import operational roles
• Good knowledge of forwarding business, DHL products and business systems (advantageous)
• CargoWise and Expedient experience (advantageous)
• Ability to identify and meet customer needs in a pleasant and friendly manner.
