About the Role
We are seeking a tech-savvy Air Freight Operations Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment. This role is responsible for managing shipments from quote to booking while leveraging a digital platform to optimize decisions, troubleshoot issues, and deliver a seamless customer experience.

This position is ideal for someone with strong air freight experience who is also comfortable working within technology-driven systems and solving problems in real time.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate competitive air freight rates with airlines and partners
• Provide accurate, timely quotes based on real-time capacity and market conditions
• Coordinate and book shipments from start to finish
• Proactively communicate shipment status and updates to customers
• Troubleshoot booking, routing, or system-related issues efficiently
• Escalate complex issues when necessary while maintaining a high level of service
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and system performance
• Provide feedback to support ongoing platform and product improvements

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Air Import/Export operations experience
• Experience working for a freight forwarder, airline cargo department, or GSA
• Strong understanding of air freight pricing, routing, and capacity
• Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer-focused with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
