Overseas Air Export Coordinator (India & Philippines)

Location: Remote – India or Philippines
Job Type: Contract
Compensation: Monthly Stipend (DOE)
Schedule: Must be available to work EST business hours

About the Role

Talmo & Associates is seeking experienced Overseas Air Export Coordinators based in India or the Philippines to support U.S.-based freight forwarding and logistics operations. This is a remote contract opportunity ideal for professionals with strong air export coordination experience, pricing and quoting knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international air export shipments from origin to destination
• Prepare and process export documentation including MAWB/HAWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, and AES filings when applicable
• Handle air export pricing, rate requests, and customer quotations
• Communicate with airlines, overseas agents, carriers, warehouses, and customers regarding shipment status and pricing
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely departures and deliveries
• Ensure compliance with export regulations and customer requirements
• Update shipment milestones and maintain accurate records in company systems
• Resolve shipment delays, documentation issues, and customer inquiries professionally and efficiently
• Support operations and customer service teams during U.S. EST business hours

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 recent years of Air Export coordination experience within freight forwarding or logistics
• Recent experience with air export pricing and quoting
• Strong understanding of international shipping procedures and export documentation
• Experience working with airlines, carriers, and overseas agents
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Must be available to work EST time zone hours
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Must have reliable office equipment including:
  • Computer or laptop
  • High-speed internet connection
  • Headset with microphone
  • Quiet and professional workspace

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting U.S.-based freight forwarding operations
• Experience with CargoWise or similar logistics software
• Strong customer service and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
