Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician
Location: Brisbane, Queensland

The Role
ASM Chilltech is seeking skilled Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technicians to join our growing service team, delivering high-quality mechanical maintenance, repairs, and servicing across client facilities. In this role, you will provide planned and reactive HVAC maintenance across a range of systems including heating, cooling, refrigeration, chilled water systems, and building management systems. You will work as part of a collaborative building services team to ensure systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with ASM Chilltech quality and compliance standards.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Deliver planned and reactive HVAC maintenance across client facilities
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems
  • Conduct fault finding, repairs, and upgrades across HVAC equipment
  • Inspect and maintain chilled water systems and refrigeration equipment
  • Ensure ventilation equipment and controls operate efficiently and continuously
  • Inspect and maintain building management systems where required
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and system malfunctions
  • Complete service reports and work orders within required timeframes
  • Ensure all works comply with safety, environmental, and company standards
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders


Your Education, Experience and Skills
  • Trade qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (essential)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair HVAC systems
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to respond quickly to changing service requirements
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • White Card (Construction Induction Card)
  • Working knowledge of building management systems desirable
