We are looking for Data & Automation Engineering Interns to support a growing set of internal agentic payment, data reporting, reconciliation, and operational intelligence workloads.
The team currently supports multiple initiatives with a small engineering group, including AI-assisted operations, ad-hoc data reporting, merchant health monitoring, fraud early detection, reconciliation automation, lakehouse migration, revenue analytics, and internal/merchant-facing chatbot systems.
This internship is focused on practical engineering support: helping the team orchestrate ad-hoc data reporting, troubleshoot production bugs, improve internal tools, validate data outputs, and assist with automation workflows. The role is suitable for interns who want exposure to real payment systems, data pipelines, reporting workflows, and applied AI/agentic systems.
This role is suitable for Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related students who are interested in backend engineering, data reporting, automation, AI-assisted operations, or payment systems.
The ideal candidate is careful, curious, and comfortable working on practical engineering tasks rather than only building demos. Accuracy matters because the systems involve payment, reporting, reconciliation, and business decision support.
By the end of the internship, interns are expected to have contributed to real reporting, automation, reconciliation, or bugfix tasks, with measurable improvements such as reduced manual reporting effort, faster issue investigation, cleaner documentation, improved data validation, or small production-ready tool enhancements.
