What are we looking for

• Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience in backend development, especially building APIs and scalable services
• Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face Transformers)
• Familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch
• Understanding of probability, statistics, and machine learning algorithms
• Very good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g.,PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS, also Azure or GCP)
• Knowledge of cloud-native development, serverless functions, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD
• (Nice to Have) Experience with computer vision tasks or multimodal models
• Familiarity with the full web stack, including RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and performance optimization
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
• Solid understanding of OOP principles
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a relevant field
• Eligibility to work in Croatia

What will you do

• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code
• Design and develop backend services using Nest.js and/or Python-based frameworks
• Build and deploy applications that integrate LLMs and LangChain
• Prototype and fine-tune machine learning models based on project needs
• Use AWS to deploy and scale backend services and databases
• Work on diverse, AI-driven projects across industries (e.g., NLP, data processing, document automation)
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust features
• Contribute to process automation, tooling, and infrastructure improvements
• Stay up to date with the latest in AI/LLM advancements
