We are looking for a driven leader to supervise the assisting, installation, and commissioning (AIC) team! You will assist the AIC Manager to lead and manage the team to ensure the successful installation and commissioning of large-scale pumping systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the AIC Manager with the coordination and scheduling of project requirements.
  • Communicate with branch/site team, sub-contractors and client representatives via phone and/or email. to ensure schedules are kept and jobs are being completed on time.
  • Ensure appropriate delegation of duties and monitor task completion by the AIC team.
  • Evaluate employee performance onsite and provide feedback as required.
  • Provide leadership to develop a supportive culture and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS and legislative requirements, ensuring staff are properly trained and equipped.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork (job sheets, timesheets, toolbox meetings, etc.) is completed accurately.
  • Coordinate pre-mobilization and post-project meetings to address any issues or actions.
  • Work closely with HSEQ on incident management and health & safety obligations.
  • Manage rostering requirements to ensure sufficient personnel availability for job schedules.
  • Collaborate with HR & HSEQ to verify that all staff and contractors meet necessary qualifications and certifications.
  • Promote safety practices and identify workplace hazards to implement appropriate controls.
  • Ensure site files are completed with relevant documentation included prior to mobilising personnel to site
  • Address and escalate any internal/external conflicts, concerns, or grievances as required.

Essential

  • Current Driver’s Licence.
  • Knowledge of dewatering pumping system design and installation.
  • Exceptional organisation and planning skills with strong adherence to deadlines and an ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.
  • Patient, flexible and adaptable to changing and challenging circumstances with great problem-solving and an ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to travel to site as required.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills.

Desirable

  • Trade qualification in Mechanical, Diesel Fitter, Fabrication or Plumbing.
  • Current MR/HR Driver’s License.
