Job Description

Summary

We are looking for an AI Value Office Analyst who would establish and run the value management discipline of the Proximus Global AI programme: build business cases for AI use cases, define the KPIs against which they are measured, and track realized value across cost, adoption, and benefit realization.

By developing robust business cases, maintaining benefit cards per use case, and consolidating programme-level value reporting, the jobholder ensures that leadership has a reliable, evidence-based view of the return on AI investment and that expected benefits are actively tracked to realization rather than assumed.

Responsibilities

  • Business Case Development: Build business cases for candidate and approved AI use cases together with process owners and finance – covering costs, expected benefits, assumptions, and sensitivities. Challenge inputs to ensure business cases are realistic and comparable across use cases.
  • KPI Definition: Define adoption, performance, and benefit KPIs per use case and maintain the associated benefit cards. Ensure KPIs are measurable, owned by the business, and defined before delivery starts.
  • Value Tracking: Track realized value across the three measurement legs of the AI programme: cost (leveraging cloud cost management tooling for AI cost attribution and SaaS consumption data), adoption and usage, and benefit realization against the business case.
  • Programme-Level Value Reporting: Consolidate use case level data into programme-level value reporting for leadership. Flag deviations between expected and realized value early and propose corrective actions.
  • Benefit Realization Reviews: Run structured post-implementation reviews to verify that expected outcomes have materialized. Feed conclusions back into the prioritization framework and future business case assumptions.
  • Methodology Ownership: Maintain and continuously improve the value measurement methodology, templates, and tooling of the Value Office, ensuring consistent application across business units and support functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years in business analysis, financial analysis, controlling, or consulting roles, ideally including business case development or benefit tracking.
  • Proven experience building and challenging business cases (cost/benefit modelling, ROI analysis, sensitivity analysis).
  • Ability to define and operationalize KPIs and benefit realization frameworks.
  • Strong data analysis skills (advanced Excel; BI or cloud cost tooling is a plus).
  • Understanding of AI and automation initiatives and their typical cost and benefit drivers.
  • Clear communication and reporting skills towards senior and executive audiences.
  • Structured, autonomous way of working; able to coordinate inputs from stakeholders without hierarchical authority.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language.

We are offering

  • Good compensation package - Competitive € salary plus attractive benefits
  • Development opportunities
  • Challenging but also very friendly working environment
  • And much, much more...
