Role: AI User Research Consultant (Life sciences) - Contract Role

Day rate: TBC and outside IR35

Project duration: 6-12 weeks

Location: Remote with ad-hoc travel

We’re supporting a consultancy that specialises in business and digital transformation, known for fostering strong relationships while designing and delivering large-scale, complex transformations worldwide.

We’re looking for someone to run AI-driven synthetic audience testing projects end-to-end for a healthcare/shingles product team. Using virtual audience segments and AI-led focus groups, the role will support the testing of creative concepts and generate insight-driven recommendations for future iterations.

Tasks

• Upload and configure creative concepts, imagery, and testing parameters within AI audience/simulation platforms
• Run synthetic audience testing and AI-facilitated focus groups across different creative concepts
• Generate final insight reports with recommendations on concept performance, preferences, and next-step improvements

Requirements

• An independent consultant
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, and related prompting workflows
• Strong understanding of AI-enabled research, synthetic audiences, prompt engineering, and insight generation
• Ability to work with technical/dev teams on AI workflows, automation, and code-assisted implementations

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in market research, concept testing, UX research, or AI-driven consumer insight programmes
• Exposure to healthcare, pharma, or patient-focused research environments
