To support the next phase of our evolution, we are looking for an ambitious and visionary AI Transformation & Operational Innovation Lead who will lead the structured adoption of Artificial Intelligence, automation and operational technologies across our Belgian hotel portfolio and support teams.

This newly created role will act as a central driver of innovation for our hotels & support teams:

  • The Hotel Brussels

  • DoubleTree by Hilton Brussels City

  • Hilton Brussels Grand Place

  • Hotel Indigo Brussels City

  • Holiday Inn Brussels Airport

  • Support teams ( RMC; revenue management centre, PMI ; productivity management, Finance & Accounting, Human resources, etc)

While the primary focus of the role will be the Belgian portfolio, the position will also collaborate closely with other Pandox properties - particularly in Germany - supporting the sharing of innovation initiatives, operational best practices and AI transformation projects across the wider organisation.

Your Mission

As AI Transformation & Operational Innovation Lead, you will first discover the current state of the nation ( learn, listen, look and experience) in order to define, structure and implement the AI/ AI Agent ( custom build) and automation vision across thePandox Operated hotels portfolio.

You will identify where technology can improve operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, communication, workflows and decision-making; while ensuring solutions remain practical, scalable and aligned withoverall objectives. .

This role is both strategic and hands-on. You will not only identify opportunities, but also guide implementation, adoption and continuous improvement across departments and properties.

A key objective of the role is to centralise and professionalise the organisation’s AI and automation journey, allowing operational teams to remain focused on their core responsibilities while ensuring innovation progresses in a structured, sustainable and measurable way.

Beyond exploring new technologies, the role will also focus strongly on improving connectivity between existing systems and platforms. While the organisation already benefits from strong operational and financial tools, many processes still rely heavily on manual handling, repetitive administrative tasks and fragmented workflows.

The ambition is to challenge these inefficiencies and help departments transition toward smarter, more connected and more automated ways of working.

Your Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Innovation

  • Define and co-create the AI and innovation roadmap for Pandox Operated hotels

  • Identify practical AI opportunities across hotel operations, guest experience, commercial activities and support functions

  • Ensure the organisation remains ahead of hospitality and technology trends

  • Continuously benchmark best practices and emerging solutions within and outside the hospitality industry

Operational Transformation

  • Analyse operational workflows and identify opportunities for automation and optimisation

  • Develop structured frameworks defining “what good looks like” regarding AI usage and operational integration

  • Support hotels in improving productivity, efficiency and service consistency through technology

  • Ensure innovation initiatives create measurable operational value

Process Automation & Systems Integration

  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive and time-consuming tasks across hotel operations, administration revenue and finance

  • Improve connectivity and data exchange between existing platforms and systems

  • Reduce manual handling, duplicated work and paper-based processes

  • Collaborate with Finance teams on automation opportunities such as invoice processing, reporting flows and approval workflows

  • Help departments move from fragmented manual processes toward more integrated and scalable digital workflows

AI Solutions & Implementation

  • Collaborate with hotel teams to ensure successful adoption and integration

  • Oversee projects related to AI agents, voice solutions, guest communication tools, workflow automation and internal knowledge systems

  • Challenge and improve existing AI implementations and digital workflows

Governance & Knowledge Sharing

  • Establish best practices, governance guidelines and usage standards for AI within the organisation

  • Create documentation, training materials and knowledge-sharing processes

  • Support teams in understanding and adopting new technologies confidently

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Work closely with General Managers & Support teams plus external stakeholders

  • Act as an internal advisor and ambassador for innovation and operational transformation

  • Support change management and encourage adoption across all levels of the organisation

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who combines genuine technological curiosity with operational understanding and strong execution capabilities. You are passionate about innovation, but equally focused on delivering practical, measurable and scalable results.

We are open to both ambitious junior profiles looking for a first impactful challenge, as well as experienced professionals eager to drive transformation and innovation within a dynamic hospitality environment. What matters most is mindset, curiosity, adaptability and the ability to turn ideas into concrete operational value.

Requirements

· Experience, academic background or strong interest in AI, digital transformation, operational innovation or hospitality technology

· Strong understanding of AI tools, automation platforms and emerging technologies

· Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

· Comfortable working across multiple properties and departments

· Entrepreneurial, structured and hands-on approach

· Excellent communication skills in English and French (German is a plus)

· Hospitality experience is a strong advantage but not a must

Experience with; AI agents, workflow automation, voice AI solutions, prompt engineering, operational optimisation, change management & systems integration is considered a major asset.
