About the role
Join a newly formed team that designs, builds, and supports the development of DXC OASIS agentic AI for Storage technologies globally. The team focuses on growing agentic AI capabilities while maintaining strong documentation, reliability, and engineering best practices.

Daily challenges

  • Lead the design, build, and ongoing maintenance of Python-based agents and MCP tool servers that integrate vendor storage technologies into OASIS, the DXC agentic platform serving both customers and internal account and operations teams.
  • Develop FastAPI/Uvicorn services exposing JSON-RPC 2.0, REST, and SSE-streamed endpoints, and consume vendor REST APIs via async HTTP clients (httpx, aiohttp) using Pydantic data models.
  • Own LangGraph ReAct agent design and tuning, including tool selection, parallel tool execution, RAG-backed knowledge retrieval, prompt engineering, and ESL-gated access control.
  • Act as subject matter expert for one or more storage vendor integrations end-to-end — vendor connector, MCP tool server, agent server, agent card, prompts, and tests.
  • Drive design discussions, lead code reviews, and set quality bars for pull requests, test coverage, changelog discipline, and team coding standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across the agent → MCP server → vendor API stack using structured logs and OpenTelemetry traces.
  • Author end-to-end test suites and contribute to CI workflows (GitHub Actions, CodeQL static analysis, PR gating); raise the team’s automated-testing bar.
  • Stay current with emerging agentic AI patterns and the OASIS SDK ecosystem; research and propose improvements that influence team-wide standards.
  • Mentor mid-level and junior engineers; contribute to onboarding documentation and help new hires become productive quickly.
  • Use Claude Code (or comparable AI coding assistants) as a routine part of the development and documentation workflow.


e Xperience and skills required

  • Good communication skills - ability to drive technical discussions and reach decisions in a distributed team, ability to take a complex concept and simplify it for a less experienced audience.
  • Tenacity - self-confidence, willingness to speak up and ability to justify your point.
  • Drive - appreciation of challenges, eagerness to learn and tackle new things.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typically 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a similar backend, API, or integration-focused role.
  • Strong Python proficiency, including async/await patterns, type hints, virtual environments, and the FastAPI / Pydantic v2 / httpx ecosystem.
  • Solid working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP fundamentals (auth headers, status codes, streaming).
  • Proficient with Git and Git-based code review workflows on GitHub (or GitHub Enterprise).
  • Comfortable working in a Linux / WSL terminal, including reading and writing bash scripts.
  • Working familiarity with AI/LLM concepts: prompt engineering, tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation.
  • Strong debugging skills across multi-service stacks (client → agent → tool server → vendor API).
  • Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks and integration standards (LangGraph, LangChain, MCP, A2A) is a strong plus.
  • Experience with AWS (especially Bedrock) and OpenTelemetry-based observability or structured/JSON logging frameworks is a plus.
  • Familiarity with enterprise storage technologies (e.g., NetApp ONTAP, Dell PowerStore, Pure FlashArray).
  • Exposure to GraphQL or async database drivers (asyncpg, oracledb) is a plus.
  • Relevant cloud or storage certifications are a plus.
  • Fluency in English.

We offer salary from 2500 EUR/month. Salary can be higher depending on experience and skillset.
