About the Team

The AI Data Service and Operations (ADSO) team is responsible for providing safety and non-safety data annotation services and search operation services for all of the company's international products, which can also help international products build their own data ecological security.

The Safety Model Operations [SMO] team within ADSO is responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining machine learning models and operational processes that support TikTok's Trust & Safety systems. We ensure that automated safety models perform effectively in identifying harmful content, mitigating risks, and maintaining a safe user environment across regions.

What will I do?

- Drive strategic initiatives that improve the effectiveness, scalability, and long-term direction of AI-related operations within Trust & Safety.

- Partner with cross-functional teams including product, operations, policy, data, and engineering to identify key business challenges, define priorities, and drive execution against strategic goals.

- Analyze operational performance, emerging risks, and industry trends to identify opportunities for process improvement, capability building, and organizational optimization.

- Translate ambiguous business problems into structured workstreams, actionable recommendations, and scalable operating mechanisms.

- Lead end-to-end project management for high-priority initiatives, including problem framing, stakeholder alignment, planning, execution tracking, and outcome review.

- Support leadership decision-making through strategic analysis, business insights, and clear communication of trade-offs, risks, and recommendations.

- Monitor developments in AI, platform governance, and the broader internet industry to help the team stay forward-looking and competitive in its operating model.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or above.

- 3+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, project management, consulting, or a related function, preferably in the internet, technology, or platform industry.

- Strong strategic thinking and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues and turn analysis into clear actions.

- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and driving alignment among diverse stakeholders.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.

- Strong sense of ownership, execution rigor, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

- Excellent proficiency (spoken and written) in English

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in strategy, operations, or PMO roles within Trust & Safety, platform operations, content ecosystems, or AI-related business functions.

- Experience in top-tier internet companies, strategy consulting, or high-growth tech environments.

- Familiarity with AI industry trends, LLM applications, or operational models related to AI products is a plus, but deep technical expertise is not required.

- Experience designing scalable processes, organizational mechanisms, or business operating models.

- Strong data sensitivity and comfort using data to support decisions, even if not in a deeply technical or hands-on analytics role.
