Job Description

About Us

We are a fast-growing digital marketing agency supporting U.S.-based clients across multiple industries. As we scale, we are committed to staying ahead by leveraging AI tools and automation technologies to streamline internal operations, improve client delivery, and increase efficiency across marketing workflows. We are looking for an AI Specialist who can assess, implement, and optimize AI-driven workflows — from automation and process improvement to training and support across the organization.

The AI Specialist will lead initiatives to integrate AI tools into both internal agency operations and client-facing marketing delivery. You will identify opportunities where AI can improve speed, consistency, and scalability, test tools, build workflows, and train team members on best practices.

This is a hands-on, strategic role that combines technical understanding, research, implementation, and cross-functional collaboration. A working familiarity with code — particularly in the context of payment processing, Ruby on Rails, and React — is a meaningful advantage for this role.

Key Responsibilities

AI Tools Research & Implementation

• Identify and evaluate AI tools and platforms — including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Zapier, Make.com, Notion AI, Midjourney, Copy.ai, and emerging alternatives — to improve marketing workflows and business processes

• Recommend tools based on impact, usability, cost, and scalability

• Stay current on new AI trends and emerging platforms relevant to marketing, operations, and automation

Workflow Automation & Process Improvement

• Build AI-enhanced workflows across the agency including content creation and repurposing, social media execution, email marketing and campaign support, lead generation and prospecting, onboarding and SOP development, and reporting and KPI tracking

• Develop custom automations and prompt-based systems to reduce manual work and increase throughput

• Document repeatable workflows and internal best practices for team-wide adoption

Technical Implementation & Code Familiarity

While this is not a pure engineering role, the following technical skills will meaningfully expand what you can build and implement:

• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails for understanding and supporting backend logic, API integrations, and workflow triggers within web applications

• Familiarity with React for working alongside front-end development on client-facing tools, dashboards, and AI-enabled interfaces

• Working knowledge of payment processing integrations — including API-based payment flows and connecting AI or automation layers to payment platforms

• Ability to read, troubleshoot, and collaborate on code without necessarily owning full-stack development

• Comfort working alongside developers to implement AI features and automation at a technical level

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with leadership and department heads to identify bottlenecks and implement AI solutions across teams

• Support client delivery teams with AI-enabled templates, systems, and productivity workflows

• Assist in building scalable systems for a growing agency environment

Training & Internal Enablement

• Train staff on prompt engineering, AI best practices, and tool usage

• Create internal training materials, SOPs, and step-by-step how-to guides

• Support adoption and quality control to ensure AI outputs meet brand and client standards

AI Reporting & Optimization

• Analyze the impact of AI tools and workflows on productivity, turnaround times, and delivery quality

• Continuously improve systems and automations based on performance data

• Support dashboard creation and reporting workflows as needed

Special Projects

• Support internal initiatives including chatbot implementation, internal knowledge base structuring, and client data enrichment and CRM workflow automation

Required Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience in AI, automation, operations, or tech innovation roles

• Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Zapier, Make.com, Claude, Gemini, Notion AI, or similar platforms

• Strong understanding of prompt design, workflow logic, and automation systems

• Strong communication skills for internal training and documentation

• Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams

• Resourceful, self-motivated, and eager to test, iterate, and improve

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with code — particularly Ruby on Rails, React, and payment processing integrations — is a meaningful advantage and strongly preferred

• Experience supporting digital marketing workflows including content, SEO, email, social, and reporting

• Familiarity with CRM and project management tools such as HubSpot, Airtable, ClickUp, or Monday.com

• Experience building dashboards or visual reporting systems

• Background working with remote teams or in an agency environment

• Experience in offshoring, staffing, or BPO operations
