Job Role: AI Solutions Engineer & Full-Stack Developer

Compensation range: $2,500 AUD - $3,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Our focus is on making the storage process as convenient and hassle-free as possible by combining practical services with a customer-first approach.

We work closely with customers to support a wide range of storage needs, whether they are relocating, renovating, decluttering, managing business inventory, or requiring temporary space. By offering tailored storage options, transportation support, and secure storage facilities, we help simplify what can often be a time-consuming and stressful process.

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced AI Solutions Engineer & Full-Stack Developer to lead the technical development and automation of our internal and external business tools. This is a commercially focused, hands-on role responsible for building, integrating, and scaling critical operational systems—including telephony, CRM pipelines, recurring billing, scheduling, and custom reporting software—across a multi-organisation structure.

You will own the technical architecture, development, and optimization of our business tools using modern web frameworks and AI-assisted development platforms. We are looking for a developer who understands how smart software and AI integration impact real operational outcomes. Success in this role is not measured by writing lines of code alone, but by your ability to automate workflows, build robust system integrations, and eliminate operational friction to drive business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI Telephony Integration: Build, deploy, and maintain advanced human & AI-driven telephony systems using Replit, Twilio and Retell AI, configuring intelligent voice agents and routing pipelines across multi-organisation setups.
• System Builds & Integrations: Architect and engineer custom business tools, bridging data silos across a telephone network, recurring billing, scheduling systems, CRM/ERPs, and automated reporting dashboards.
• Web Development: Maintain, develop and optimise modern, fast, and responsive user interfaces and internal dashboards using Astro and React.
• Rapid Prototyping & Automation: Leverage modern AI-assisted engineering environments including Replit and Hercules to prototype features rapidly, deploy code efficiently, and automate workflows.
• CRM Data Pipeline Management: Manage deep technical integrations with HubSpot, ensuring clean data flow, webhook handling, proper mapping, and robust conversion tracking between external systems and our CRM.
• Performance Tracking & Optimisation: Work closely with operations, marketing, and leadership teams to analyse tool performance against commercial KPIs, including lead capture efficiency, scheduling utilisation, and system uptime.
• Security & Clean Architecture: Maintain clean codebase standards, secure API connection management, and safe data governance practices across all custom internal apps.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven Systems Engineering: Strong hands-on experience building custom internal tools, workflow automations, or SaaS integrations with measurable business impact.
• AI Developer Tech Stack: Extensive, day-to-day experience working with conversational AI tools and sandboxes, specifically Replit and Hercules, alongside LLM API integrations.
• Telephony & Web Experience: Deep technical familiarity with building voice or SMS workflows via Twilio, integrating AI voice layers with Retell AI, and creating frontends in Astro and React.
• Deep CRM Knowledge: Advanced experience setting up webhooks, custom objects, data syncing, and API workflows within HubSpot.
• Commercial & Analytical Mindset: Ability to connect software engineering choices to real business metrics, profitability, and operational scale.
• Multi-Entity Infrastructure: Experience managing data flows and software applications built for multi-location, franchise, or multi-organisation business structures is highly regarded.
