Business Unit Overview
The Chief Technology and AI Office (CTAIO) at PwC Middle East combines strategic foresight with digital innovation to accelerate transformation. Within this platform, PwC's The Difference uses foundations of the MG Taylor methodology to bring together the right people, information, environment and context. We design collaborative experiences that build alignment, improve decisions and move groups from discussion to practical action.
How You’ll Contribute
As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Designing, reviewing and executing comprehensive manual test cases based on business and technical requirements
Performing functional, regression, integration, system and performance testing across web, mobile and enterprise applications
Leading end-to-end testing activities for medium-complexity projects and releases
Conducting UI and user experience testing to ensure consistency, accessibility and usability standards are met
Identifying, documenting, prioritising and tracking defects using JIRA and other defect management tools
Collaborating with developers, product owners, business analysts and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables
Supporting User Acceptance Testing activities and coordinating issue resolution prior to production release
Applying black-box and white-box testing methodologies to validate application functionality and business processes
Performing API testing, data validation and integration testing for interconnected systems
Supporting automation testing initiatives and contributing to test automation frameworks where appropriate
Executing security and vulnerability testing to support compliance and risk management objectives
Mentoring junior QA team members and reviewing test cases to ensure testing quality and coverage
Contributing to quality assurance standards, best practices and process improvement initiatives
Supporting release readiness assessments and production validation activities
What You’ll Bring
3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, including manual and automated testing
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
Strong experience with testing management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and similar technologies
Working knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile and DevOps methodologies
Experience performing functional, regression, integration, system, performance and acceptance testing
Experience testing web, mobile and enterprise applications
Ability to prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios and test cases
Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
Ability to mentor junior team members and work effectively in cross-functional environments
