Business Unit Overview
The Chief Technology and AI Office (CTAIO) at PwC Middle East combines strategic foresight with digital innovation to accelerate transformation. Within this platform, PwC's The Difference uses foundations of the MG Taylor methodology to bring together the right people, information, environment and context. We design collaborative experiences that build alignment, improve decisions and move groups from discussion to practical action.
How You’ll Contribute
As a Quality Assurance Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Establishing testing standards and quality frameworks for AI, Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions
Defining validation approaches for AI model performance, reliability, accuracy and governance requirements
Collaborating with AI Engineers, Data Scientists and Product Teams to ensure responsible AI and quality-by-design principles are embedded throughout solution development
Leading QA strategy, governance and quality assurance activities across multiple projects, products and delivery teams
Defining quality standards, testing frameworks and controls aligned with organizational and business objectives
Managing end-to-end testing activities across software development lifecycles, ensuring delivery quality and release readiness
Overseeing functional, regression, integration, performance, security and user acceptance testing initiatives
Establishing risk-based testing approaches and ensuring appropriate test coverage across solutions
Driving quality engineering transformation through automation, continuous integration and continuous testing practices
Leading defect management processes, root cause analysis and quality improvement initiatives
Collaborating with engineering, product, architecture and business leadership teams to define quality objectives and success metrics
Managing QA resources, project priorities, budgets and delivery timelines
Developing testing strategies for AI-enabled applications, enterprise platforms and digital products
Reviewing and approving test plans, test execution reports and release sign-off recommendations
Monitoring quality metrics and reporting delivery risk, defects and testing progress to leadership stakeholders
Leading production readiness reviews and post-release quality assessments
Building and mentoring high-performing QA teams through coaching, performance development and knowledge sharing
Driving continuous improvement initiatives and establishing quality assurance best practices across the organisation
Supporting client engagements, audits and compliance requirements related to software quality and testing controls
What You’ll Bring
8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, quality engineering or testing leadership roles
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field
Proven experience leading QA teams and managing testing activities across multiple workstreams
Strong expertise in quality assurance methodologies, test management and defect lifecycle management
Experience implementing and scaling test automation frameworks and quality engineering practices
Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD and modern software development practices
Experience with tools such as JIRA, Postman, Selenium, Playwright, JMeter, Azure DevOps or equivalent technologies
Experience testing enterprise applications, cloud platforms and digital products
Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills
Experience managing testing risks, quality governance and release management activities
Ability to define quality metrics, KPIs and reporting dashboards for leadership audiences
Experience coaching and developing QA professionals across different levels
