As an AI Software Engineer within Group Wealth Engineering, you will help redefine how hundreds of engineers design, build, test, deploy, and operate software. You will work on cutting-edge agentic AI solutions, internal developer platforms, and AI-powered engineering workflows that directly influence how software is delivered across the organization.

You are a hands-on engineer, builder, and innovator who thrives on solving complex engineering challenges.
You will architect and develop the platforms, agents, and automated workflows that embed AI into our software delivery lifecycle. Your work will help engineering teams move faster, improve software quality, and unlock new ways of working through AI.
Beyond platform engineering, you will also contribute directly to strategic business and technology initiatives across Group Wealth Engineering, applying your expertise where it can create the greatest impact.
Key Responsibilities
Build AI-Powered Engineering Platforms Design and develop internal developer platforms, including AI gateways, agent orchestration frameworks, retrieval systems, and reusable engineering services that enable product teams to safely and effectively leverage AI.
Develop Agentic Engineering Workflows Design and implement intelligent workflows that automate software development activities, including code generation, code reviews, testing, vulnerability remediation, documentation, and deployment processes.
Transform the Software Delivery Lifecycle Integrate AI capabilities into CI/CD pipelines and engineering toolchains to improve developer productivity, software quality, operational resilience, and delivery velocity.
Engineer Enterprise Knowledge Systems Build and maintain knowledge platforms spanning codebases, architecture repositories, documentation, operational runbooks, and post-mortems to power context-aware AI agents and workflows.
Drive AI Adoption Across Engineering Partner with engineering teams to define best practices, reference architectures, and golden paths that accelerate safe and effective adoption of AI technologies.
Lead by Example Contribute as a senior individual contributor on critical business initiatives and strategic technology programs across Group Wealth Engineering when required.
Measure and Optimize Outcomes Define and track engineering productivity, quality, adoption, and business-impact metrics, continuously improving the effectiveness of AI-enabled software delivery
What You'll Bring
Technical Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
10+ years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise-scale applications and platforms.
Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, TypeScript, or Node.js.
Experience building cloud-native applications and platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, and platform engineering principles.
Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD, DevOps, and software delivery practices.
AI and Agentic Engineering Experience
Practical experience working with large language models (LLMs), AI APIs, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures.
Experience building AI-powered applications, copilots, agents, or workflow automation solutions.
Familiarity with frameworks and tooling such as LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, vector databases, orchestration frameworks, and agent-based architectures.
Strong understanding of AI governance, security, observability, and responsible AI practices.
