At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As an AI Software Engineer, a typical day will include the following duties:

• Expand the customer’s Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) architecture and develop an analytics user interface (UI).
• Bridge research output to operational teams by packing models as reliable service.
• Create operator-focused dashboards.
• Deliver a stable, low-cost productions platform that enables rapid, tailored outreach.
• Provide weekly highlights summarizing work progress as required by the Customer.
• Provide briefings, to include presentation slides and user guide documentation, as required by the Customer.

Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience

• Demonstrated experience in cloud compute environments.
• Demonstrated experience in containerization concepts.
• Demonstrated experience in Machine Learning Operations (MLOps).
• Demonstrated expertise in software engineering, cloud architecture and UI design.
• Demonstrated experience supporting big data environments.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with technical and non-technical personnel as well as all levels of management and staff.

Highly Desired Skills and Demonstrated Experience

• Demonstrated experience with proficiency in Python and SQL
• Demonstrated experience with Docker
• Demonstrated experience with Flask, Gradio, or Streamlit
