At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As an AI Software Engineer, a typical day will include the following duties:

• Work closely with other teams; however, the customer project manager will manage the priorities.
• Integrate with customer team to develop an understanding of customer data structures.
• Build out schema and data models, as required by the customer.
• Complete the customer’s systems administrator security course (approx. 8 hours of training).
• Provide weekly highlights summarizing work progress as required by the customer.
• Provide briefings, to include presentation slides and user guide documentation, as required by the customer.

Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience

• Demonstrated experience with proficiency in Python.
• Demonstrated experience with data analytics and transformations.
• Demonstrated experience with complex graph database queries.
• Demonstrated experience in cloud compute environments.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with technical and non-technical personnel as well as all levels of management and staff.

Highly Desired Skills and Demonstrated Experience

• Demonstrated experience with proficiency in SQL
• Demonstrated experience with Cypher
• Demonstrated experience with Amazon Web Service (AWS), (Lambda)
• Demonstrated experience with Docker
