Bosch Service Solutions develops and delivers Customer Experience, Mobility and Monitoring solutions for companies and their customers. As a trainee you will support the development of AI-driven internal platforms focused on automation, developer productivity, and intelligent business solutions. Working closely with experienced engineers, you will contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of AI-powered applications and backend services.

You will gain hands-on experience developing software with Python, Go, and Elixir, integrating Large Language Models into production systems, building AI agents using Google's Agent Development Kit (ADK), and working with cloud-native technologies and microservice architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining backend and frontend services using Go (Golang), Elixir and React
• Contribute to the development of AI-powered applications and internal developer tools.
• Develop AI agents and agentic workflows using Google's Agent Development Kit (ADK) and similar frameworks
• Assist in designing, maintaining and improving prompt engineering techniques and (RAG, Graph RAG and KBs) workflows.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and microservices.
• Assist with deploying and maintaining applications in Kubernetes environments using Helm and modern CI/CD practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following software engineering best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, AI components, and system architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance new features.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and software engineering.

Qualifications

Education

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.

Technical Skills

Required Skills

• Experience programming in Python, Go (Golang), Elixir, or another modern programming language, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Basic understanding of software engineering principles and software design.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and backend development concepts.
• Knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and programming fundamentals.
• Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and modern software development.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Large Language Models (e.g., GPT, Gemini, Claude, Llama, or similar).
• Basic understanding of prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agent architectures.
• Interest in developing AI agents using Google's Agent Development Kit (ADK) or similar agentic AI frameworks.
• Familiarity with microservice architectures and event-driven systems.
• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (preferred), Azure, or AWS.
• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies such as React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Personal, academic, or open-source projects involving AI or software engineering.
• Experience using GitHub in collaborative projects.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and modern development workflows.
• Interest in developer tools, automation, and AI-powered productivity solutions.
