Our brand Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia entered the life of Košice region in 2006 under the name of T-Systems Slovakia and ever since has been inextricably linked with the region when became one of the founding members of Košice IT Valley. We have managed to grow from scratch to the second largest employer in the eastern part of the country with more than 3900 employees. We are looking for an AI Developer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI-powered solutions that support one of Europe’s largest infrastructure transformation programs: the nationwide expansion of fiber-optic networks.

You will contribute to modern AI solutions that improve process automation, engineering productivity, operational efficiency, knowledge access, and decision support in a highly process-driven enterprise environment involving thousands of employees and external partners.

The role covers the full lifecycle of AI solutions — from proof of concept to production deployment, operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI-powered applications and agentic solutions
• Build AI copilots, multi-agent systems, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation solutions
• Develop solutions that improve process automation, engineering productivity, operational efficiency, and decision support
• Integrate AI services into business applications, workflows, and enterprise platforms using APIs and modern integration patterns
• Work with structured and unstructured data, including data pipelines, document processing, and data preparation for AI applications
• Build retrieval-based AI solutions and apply context engineering practices to improve access to enterprise knowledge, documentation, standards, and process information
• Monitor, troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing AI applications and platforms
• Support the transition of proof of concepts into reliable, production-ready solutions
• Take ownership of solution quality, maintainability, scalability, and operational stability
• Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, architects, product teams, and business stakeholders
• Support the clarification of requirements and translate business needs into practical AI-enabled solutions
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and contribute to their practical adoption in enterprise use cases

Qualifications

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• have 3+ years of professional experience in software development, data science, or a related technical field
• have recent hands-on experience with AI-powered applications, agentic solutions, or LLM-based systems
• have strong Python skills and solid understanding of modern software engineering practices, including version control, code review, automated testing, and CI/CD
• have experience designing and implementing AI applications, including agentic workflows, multi-agent systems, or AI copilots
• have good understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation, context engineering, embeddings, vector-based retrieval, enterprise search, and knowledge management concepts
• have experience working with structured and unstructured data, including data preparation, document processing, and data pipelines
• have experience integrating solutions into business applications, workflows, and enterprise platforms using APIs and modern integration patterns
• have experience building and deploying applications in cloud environments using modern containerization technologies
• have experience taking solutions from proof of concept to production, including support, maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement
• have ability to clarify requirements with business stakeholders and translate business needs into practical technical solutions
• have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proactive learning mindset

Nice to Have:

• Experience with GitLab or comparable DevOps platforms for version control, CI/CD, code review, and release workflows
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially data, AI/ML, integration, or application deployment services
• Experience with Palantir Foundry, including data-driven applications, data pipelines, ontology-based solutions, or operationalizing analytical/AI use cases
• Knowledge of MLOps, LLMOps, AI solution evaluation, monitoring, and production lifecycle management
• Experience with vector search, semantic search, or knowledge retrieval capabilities in Google Cloud, Palantir Foundry, or comparable enterprise platforms
• Experience in telecommunications, infrastructure rollout, construction, engineering, or other complex process-driven enterprise environments

Language

• English – professional working proficiency, written and spoken
• German – nice to have

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2000€ /brutto.
