About the Role: AI Software Developer – Internship Programme under the Youth Employment+ Programme – Component 2

Want to build real AI and full-stack products, not just study them? Our AI Hub team is looking for an AI Software Developer Intern to join our Research and Development team. You will help prototype, develop, and present Machine Learning and AI solutions alongside full-stack web applications that support our clients' core business.

You'll work under the guidance of a Senior Manager and our Team Leader, with real ownership of the tasks you're assigned. The internship is conducted on-site at the Proxiad office in Plovdiv.

What You'll Do:

• Build and modify software based on specifications and instructions.
• Research requirements and turn them into working solutions.
• Read about relevant topics and share your findings during research meetings.
• Help define AI business requirements and shape how users interact with AI-driven workflows.
• Work independently on smaller features and take on larger tasks with support.
• Provide status updates and time estimates throughout your work.
• Support testing by providing testers with the technical context they need, validating ML model outputs against research benchmarks, and investigating code dependencies.
• Continuously learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, or Machine Learning.
• Good Python skills.
• Understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals.
• Ability to translate technical AI concepts into business language.
• Good command of English.

Nice to Have:

• JavaScript, React, and Next.js.
• ML frameworks and libraries such as PyTorch, Pandas, and NumPy.
• Git (GitLab).
• REST APIs (FastAPI).
• AWS (EC2, S3, SageMaker).

Eligibility / Who Can Apply:

• Up to 29 years of age.
• No professional experience in your field of study.
• Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Machine Learning, or another closely related technical field
